Workforce Solutions for North Central PA located in Kersey PA is seeking to fill a full- time Business Engagement Coordinator position immediately.  The position will be located in Kersey, PA.

Core duties include: To serve as the primary administrator of employer/business services for the region’s high growth, high demand industries.  Responsible for the development and coordination of strategic, industry-focused initiatives that meet employers’ evolving workforce needs.  This position will help coordinate a regional strategy for business services across the public workforce development system.  This position will also oversee the implementation of our Regional Action Plan focused on three main goals in order to provide a skilled workforce – Attract individuals to commute to work in our region; Attract individuals to relocate to work in our region; and Attract our young people to stay or return to work in our region.

Reliable transportation, ability to travel regionally, and a valid driver’s license is required, along with Act 34 and 33 clearances.

It is preferred that the candidate have a bachelor’s degree in planning, business management or related field; or equivalent education/training and experience combined.  In addition, the candidate must be self-motivated, able to work independently and have strong interpersonal skills.
